The National Testing Agency (NTA) has simplified the admit card download process for the Neet UG 2026 re-examination, allowing candidates to access their hall tickets without first completing bank account verification.
The move comes after concerns from students who were unable to download their admit cards due to pending bank details linked to the examination fee refund process.
In a post on X, NTA clarified that candidates can now download their admit cards immediately and complete bank account verification at a later stage. The agency also assured students that delaying the verification process will not affect their eligibility for receiving the examination fee refund.
"If you were unable to download your admit card earlier because of pending bank details, you can now: Download your Admit Card immediately. Complete bank account verification later. Still remain eligible for the examination fee refund process," NTA stated.
The revised process is expected to provide relief to thousands of aspirants preparing for the re-examination scheduled for June 21.
NTA has urged students to download their admit cards as soon as possible and carefully review all details before the examination day. Candidates should verify their examination center, reporting time, personal information, and other important instructions mentioned on the admit card.
The agency also advised students to keep two printed copies of the admit card ready for the exam. "Download your admit card today and keep both the printed copies ready for exam day. Best wishes to all Neet 2026 aspirants," NTA said.
The upcoming Neet UG re-examination follows the cancellation of the original test conducted on May 3 after reports of a paper leak surfaced. Authorities decided to hold a fresh examination to ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of the admission process.
The re-exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. An additional 15 minutes has been allotted to facilitate administrative procedures and ensure smooth conduct at examination centers.

With a large number of candidates expected to appear, education authorities and examination officials are coordinating efforts to ensure the test is conducted without disruptions.
