The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has launched a new Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aeronautics and Space Technology designed for both students and professionals interested in pursuing careers in aerospace and space exploration. This innovative programme does not require JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or GATE scores for admission, allowing a wider range of candidates, including those from diverse academic backgrounds, to enroll. The BS in Aeronautics and Space Technology is primarily an online programme, with some laboratory courses conducted on the IIT Madras campus.
