The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 reinforces this shift by formally integrating preprimary education into the national framework through its 5+3+3+4 structure, recognizing the early years as the cornerstone of holistic development and lifelong readiness.
From the first stage of this journey emerges Curioville Preschool, an institution inspired by a deep understanding of the importance of early childhood education.
The principles of NEP 2020 resonate strongly with Curioville’s philosophy, which acknowledges that learning in the formative years shapes not just academic ability, but emotional balance, creativity, and character.
The institution draws inspiration from the long-standing vision of Poojya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar J, who has consistently emphasized the need for early, value based, and holistic education that nurtures a child’s innate potential from the very beginning.
Curioville Preschool is founded on the spirit of seva, where learning begins with compassion, kindness and meaningful human connections. With the knowledge that maximum brain development occurs before the age of eight, the institution has consciously chosen to focus its efforts on children during this crucial developmental phase.
Every aspect of the learning environment is thoughtfully designed to support natural growth, curiosity and emotional well-being. Curioville’s open learning spaces reflect its educational philosophy.
Large classrooms, child-level materials, and interconnected learning zones encourage free movement, collaboration, and exploration. With no doors between zones, children develop self-regulation, independence, and confidence in a calm, secure, and socially rich environment.
Curioville Preschool envisions a nurturing preprimary school where curiosity is ignited, creativity is inspired, and values are gently instilled to build strong character. Through
this approach the institution aspires to make a meaningful contribution to a stress-free, violence free society, where children grow with confidence, compassion, and a smile on every face.
Where Learning Unfolds Naturally
Curioville Preschool offers early childhood education across four levels - Playgroup, Nursery, PP1, and PP2, along with an integrated day care facility. With a clear focus on the Foundational Years, the institution plans to introduce Grade 1 and Grade 2 in the near future, ensuring continuity in a child’s early learning journey.
Curioville’s educational philosophy is rooted in natural learning rather than conventional instruction. Learning unfolds through observation, exploration, and meaningful engagement. A unique story-based methodology forms the core of the curriculum, where concepts are introduced through a thoughtfully curated global booklist. Stories and illustrations encourage children to observe, question interpret and derive understanding organically, guided by specially trained educators.
Children are encouraged to explore freely, share ideas, and communicate openly with facilitators, peers, and families and that aids towards their confident self expression. Individuality is deeply respected - children are never compared with one another, and progress is tracked through personal growth rather than competition.
Creativity thrives in open, non-judgmental spaces where accessible resources inspire imagination, handson experimentation, and simple scientific exploration. Through discovery and expression, children build confidence, deepen understanding, and expand their horizons every day.

Children are described as happy, confident, and eager to come to school, with visible improvements in communication and social skills.
Families value the school’s focus on kindness, compassion, cultural respect, and patriotism, sharing meaningful stories of children expressing care for peers, embracing multiple languages, and developing love for the nation. Visitors and parents alike describe Curioville as a place where children learn naturally, feel secure, and experience education that truly shapes character and values.
Learning Beyond Screens
Curioville places minimal emphasis on gadgets, recognising that children already have ample screen exposure outside school. Instead, the focus is on meaningful, hands-on experiences and a close connection with nature. Each child nurtures a’plant pet’, learning responsibility, patience, and observation through daily care.
Learning unfolds through gardening, nature walks, creative arts, story telling, and collaborative play, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and strong social skills. By engaging directly with their environment and the people around them, children develop a deeper understanding of concepts and a lasting love for learning.
Committed to thoughtful growth, Curioville will continue to strengthen its experiential learning philosophy within its current establishment. Plans include introducing Grade 1 and Grade 2 to ensure continuity in early education, with future expansion in the Manikonda area planned in the third year.
