Early quality education in India is no longer viewed as a preparatory phase, but as a critical foundation that shapes cognitive development, emotional regulation, and lifelong learning outcomes.

As neuroscience and policy increasingly align on the importance of the early years, the focus is shifting from rote instruction to nurturing environments. This evolving understanding finds expression in My School ITALY, established by Dr Aperna Volluru.

For more than three decades, Dr Aperna Volluru lived between laboratories, classrooms, policy rooms, and innovation ecosystems across Europe, moving fluidly between neuroscience, technology, education systems, and human performance. Some where along those years, through nearly three lakh hours of study, observation, iteration, and field practice, the deeper insight emerged slowly.

Policy could influence. Technology could accelerate. But only early childhood could reshape human capacity itself. That conviction became the seed, and eventually, a movement that anchored two interconnected ventures: My School ITALY, a preschool chain built around scienceled environments, and NeuroPi Tech Private Limited.

Furthermore, re-architecting preschool, not as “school,” but as an environment. Under Dr Aperna’s leadership, My School ITALY became a place where neuroscience quietly sits beneath play, story, language, movement, and interaction.

The curriculum doesn’t simply combine trends it integrates ideas drawn from NEP 2020, Montessori, Reggio-Waldorf inspirations, robotics for curiosity building, and emotional-intelligence scaffolding.

Instead of worksheets, experiences are intentionally sequenced. Instead of accelerated academics, the focus is rhythm, sensory development, self-regulation, and joyful exploration, aligned with what research currently understands, without over-promising what science cannot yet confirm.

Education is not a service industry, but the most advanced human-development science we possess. Recognition, not as trophies, but as signals. When honours followed, including the UK Queen’s Award, the European Business Award, Guinness World Record, the Nobel Business Award, and other global recognitions, Dr Aperna did not interpret them as personal milestones, but as signals that the conversation around early childhood is maturing.
Building NeuroPi - A Unified Intelligence Backbone

The next leap was NeuroPi, designed as a platform-led, IPcentric backbone, intentionally capable of compounding value across verticals, including early education, sports performance, school enablement, and long-term wellness. The goal is not to diagnose or label children.

Instead, NeuroPi helps educators, parents, and coaches better understand environments, sleep patterns, learning rhythm, movement routines, and emotional climate, so they can support healthier outcomes where appropriate.

Care is taken in language, consent, privacy, and ethics. Research is approached with humility. Personalization is informed by data, but grounded in the principle that children remain dynamic, evolving, and never reduced to metrics.

Many Cultures, One Scientific Foundation

As NeuroPi and My School ITALY expand across regions - Italy, India, UAE, Africa, and the Middle East - one question returns often: How do you honour culture while preserving scientific purity? Dr Aperna’s answer has been consistent: Culture is respected in ritual, language, story, food, festivals, and community dynamics. Science remains uncompromised in: how the brain wires, how children regulate emotions, how movement shapes cognition, and how environments influence epigenetics.

Each geography looks beautifully different. But beneath every cultural layer lies one shared human brain. And that is where NeuroPi works.

Trust at Scale - Corporates, Governments & Families

Today, families from more than 300 global corporations stand alongside government partnerships in Anganwadi and early-learning reforms. To Dr Aperna, this trust does not signify size. It signifies credibility, that both premium systems and public systems recognize the same thing: A future-ready civilization cannot be built by repairing adults.

It must be cultivated by nurturing children correctly. Awards may gather. Platforms may scale. But the mission remains deeply human: that every child, regardless of geography, finds learning spaces that nurture attention, curiosity, emotional safety and healthy development. The real revolution, it turns out, doesn’t arrive loudly. It begins quietly, wherever a child’s mind is given the right environment to grow.
