Shri Ram College of Commerce and EY India have launched AI VIBE, a 12-month program that will train students in AI, data analytics, fintech and other emerging technologies.
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has partnered with EY India to launch AI VIBE, a 12-month program aimed at preparing students for careers in an increasingly AI-driven economy.
The program will be open to SRCC students from Semester 3 onward and will follow a selective admission process. Students will be shortlisted based on assessments, interviews and a Statement of Purpose (SOP).
The course is designed to go beyond traditional classroom learning by combining technology training with business applications. Students will work on projects and practical assignments throughout the program and will also undergo a final evaluation.
The curriculum will cover a wide range of emerging technologies and business applications. Key areas include machine learning, Generative AI, AI agents, decision intelligence and data analytics. Students will also learn about financial technologies, blockchain, responsible AI and AI governance.
The program will use practical learning methods to help students understand how these technologies are applied in real business environments. Hackathons, mentoring sessions, industry interactions and applied projects will form part of the learning experience.
Students will also get an opportunity to learn from AI specialists at EY India and other industry professionals. This industry exposure is intended to help students develop both technical skills and the ability to solve business problems using emerging technologies.
The program comes as businesses across sectors are adopting AI and looking for professionals who can understand both technology and its business impact. For commerce students, exposure to areas such as AI, fintech, analytics and decision intelligence could help broaden career opportunities beyond traditional business and finance roles.

The collaboration also reflects a broader shift in higher education toward industry-linked learning. As AI changes the nature of jobs and business processes, colleges are increasingly looking to combine academic education with practical technology skills.
For SRCC students, AI VIBE will provide structured exposure to technologies that are becoming increasingly relevant across finance, consulting, business operations and other industries. The selective format and project-based assessments are also expected to give students a more hands-on learning experience.
The 12-month program brings together SRCC’s academic environment and EY India’s industry expertise to create a learning model focused on emerging technologies and their business applications. Through the initiative, both institutions aim to help students build the skills needed to navigate an AI-enabled workplace.
