  • Aimed at nurturing future leaders, the AALP empowers students to contribute to India's growth, providing them with opportunities to bridge academic learning with real-world applications.

The Adani Group has announced the award of 24 fully funded scholarships to students from some of India’s leading business schools under the 2025-27 cohort of the Adani Accelerated Leadership Programme (AALP). This initiative underscores the group’s commitment to fostering inclusive leadership and contributing to the nation’s growth by identifying and nurturing young talent.

The selected scholars come from premier institutions such as the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, and the Indian School of Business (ISB), and they were recently felicitated at the Adani Group’s headquarters in Ahmedabad. The ceremony was led by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Director at Adani Cement.

The AALP scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers for deserving management students, allowing them to pursue their education and leadership development without constraints. The selection process is based on both merit and financial need, ensuring that the most talented students are given the opportunity to excel. Through this program, the Adani Group aims to provide a platform for future leaders who are not only academically proficient but also demonstrate financial need and a desire to contribute to the nation’s development.

“The AALP scholarship represents our commitment to nurturing leadership that will play a key role in India’s growth story. By offering opportunities to talented students, regardless of their financial background, we hope to empower them to reach their fullest potential, ultimately benefiting the country’s infrastructure and economy”, said Karan Adani, during the felicitation ceremony.

The 2025-27 cohort highlights the diverse talent emerging from India’s top educational institutions. Among the selected scholars is Anand Babu Kamineni, a first-year MBA student at IIM Calcutta, who ranks in the top 0.1 percent in competitive exams like JEE, CAT, and UPSC. Coming from a small village in Andhra Pradesh, Anand’s story is a powerful example of how access to opportunity can unlock extraordinary potential. “This scholarship means more than just financial support to me. It’s a chance to transform my future and contribute to the nation’s development”, said Kamineni.

Another standout scholar is Ayush Srivastava, a student at IIM Lucknow, who brings a wealth of experience in leading critical technology upgrades and training over 500 engineers in advanced oil and gas systems. Having worked on offshore operations in Europe, Ayush’s technical expertise combined with his managerial skills make him an ideal candidate for leadership development. "The opportunity to be part of this prestigious program is a huge step forward in my journey as a leader", said Ayush.

The cohort also includes Madhu Gupta from IIM Calcutta, who has managed large operational teams with a focus on safety and operational excellence, and Kanav Bansal, whose early career contributions to high-impact systems have resulted in significant financial gains for his organization. The diversity of backgrounds and skills among the scholars reflects the depth and breadth of talent being cultivated through AALP.

Beyond the financial support, the Adani Accelerated Leadership Programme offers structured industry exposure, mentorship, and hands-on experience, allowing students to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. The program provides a platform for scholars to gain insights into large-scale infrastructure projects and enterprise management, setting the stage for their future leadership roles in the industry.

As India continues its rapid growth, the Adani Group emphasized that stronger collaboration between academia and industry is essential for shaping future-ready leaders. Through the AALP, the group seeks to create a pipeline of leaders who will be defined not only by their excellence but also by their sense of responsibility and commitment to nation-building.
