Sneha’s Imagination Station is a comprehensive early childhood development center dedicated to nurturing children through authentic, play-based learning during the foundational zero-to-eight-year period.
Designed as more than a conventional preschool, the center offers thoughtfully curated programs including the Toddler Play Program, Bubs Hub, a play-based foundation-building experience for young learners, the Mother-Toddler and Parent-Child Programs, which foster bonding and first-hand exploration through arts and sensory experiences, and the After School Preschool Program, a child-led extension that engages children in developmentally appropriate activities.
At Sneha’s Imagination Station, there is no single curriculum that every child follows. Here, the child is the curriculum. Each child arrives with their own pace, strengths, and way of making sense of the world, and the center honors that individuality completely. Educators observe, listen, and design experiences that respond to where each child actually is. No two roadmaps look alike, because no two children are alike.
“I founded Sneha’s Imagination Station because I believe early learning must be rooted in authentic play and self-discovery rather than rigid, instruction-driven methods. After pursuing specialized studies in early childhood education in the United States, I felt compelled to create a space dedicated to nurturing children meaningfully during their foundational journey”, shares Sneha Choksi, Founder, Sneha’s Imagination Station.
Thoughtfully Designed Infrastructure
Sneha’s Imagination Station is spread across a 2,500-square-yard campus that began as an open, green garden space and evolved into a thought fully designed early learning environment. The classrooms are spacious, calming, and gender-neutral,
avoiding over stimulating colors to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Materials are largely sustainable and nature-based, with minimal plastic use. Children engage with wooden blocks, stones, sand, and kitchen-based sensory elements, while all art supplies are non-toxic and safe.
Multipurpose, movable furniture allows them to redesign their space, fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. The environment follows a child-led, democratic approach that fosters autonomy, sustained attention, collaboration, and a strong sense of self.

At Sneha’s Imagination Station, educators are viewed as the cornerstone of early childhood development, where relationships, trust, and emotional connection form the foundation of learning. Teachers are carefully trained to cultivate empathy, attentiveness, and strong observational skills.

Rather than rushing to diagnose, the educators chose to pause, observe, and provide a rich, multisensory, play-based environment tailored to the child’s needs. “Through careful documentation, parent counseling, and collaboration with occupational therapists, speech specialists, and pediatricians, a holistic support plan was created. Gradually, the child bridged developmental gaps and began thriving socially and emotionally”, adds Sneha.

Looking ahead, Sneha’s Imagination Station envisions growth that extends beyond its campus into wider educational reform and community impact. A key focus is establishing structured teacher training modules to equip educators with skills in nature-based, inquiry-driven, and developmentally appropriate practices, addressing existing gaps in early childhood specialization despite policy recognition under India’s National Education Policy 2020.
The center has already conducted workshops for Anganwadi workers and educators across India, including participants from diverse regions such as Leh Ladakh and South India, and aims to expand these outreach initiatives. Strengthening its parent–child programs across different states is another priority, given their strong demand and distinctive approach.
“Additionally, our team is exploring future-ready curriculum frameworks that respond to the evolving AI-driven landscape focusing on creativity, critical thinking, and neural development rather than rote learning. Our long-term vision centers on building resilient, adaptable learners prepared for an increasingly automated world”, concludes Sneha.
