Anand Somasundar
Founder
Established in 2018, Cradle 2 Colors has emerged as a benchmark institution in this evolving landscape, offering world-class early years education rooted in purpose, discipline, and compassion. The school was founded as a deeply personal initiative inspired by the childhood experiences and life philosophy of its founder, Anand Somasundar.

It was never intended to be a commercial venture, but rather a mission-driven effort to create a value-based preschool ecosystem where children feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore their individuality.
The guidance and blessings of Shri Shiva Kumar Swamiji of Tumkur played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s ethos, reinforcing the belief that true education must be grounded in integrity, service, and responsibility.
“When children grow in an environment filled with care, discipline, and encouragement, learning happens naturally”, says Harini Basappa, Principal & Administrative Head, reflecting the core philosophy that defines Cradle 2 Colors.
A Holistic Early Learning Environment
Cradle 2 Colors offers a comprehensive learning ecosystem, including Daycare, Playgroup, Nursery, LKG, and UKG, catering to children as young as five months. The campus is designed to encourage joyful exploration, freedom of expression, and hands-on learning, allowing children to develop at their own pace in a consistently supportive environment.
The daycare functions as a true second home, and is managed by trained caretakers and following strong safety protocols, continuous supervision, and well-maintained play areas with age-appropriate learning materials. Central to the school’s approach is the Head, Heart & Hands (3H Learning) philosophy, which ensures balanced cognitive, emotional, and practical development.
Learning is experiential and activity-based, moving beyond rote memorization, with concepts introduced through discussion,
questioning, and reinforced through drawing, writing, role play, and play-based activities. Visual aids, multimedia tools, and outdoor spaces cater to diverse learning styles.
The curriculum is designed to support each developmental stage. In Playgroup (2-3 years), children engage with cause-and-effect toys, sensory play, and fine motor activities like sand, water, and play dough. Nursery(3-4 years) focuses on empathy, emotional literacy, phonics, numeracy, role play, and art.
In Kindergarten (4-6 years), the emphasis is on independence, problem-solving, practical life skills, and creative activities. Technology is integrated through a parent communication app, smart boards, and a KG learning app.
The infrastructure includes two playgrounds, a sandpit, gym, splash pool, and outdoor learning zones. Children also participate in mock road safety simulations and field trips, connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences.
Nurturing Character and All-Round Growth
At Cradle 2 Colors, academics go hand in hand with discipline, culture, and life values. Daily assemblies featuring the National Anthem and shlokas instill patriotism, focus, and spiritual grounding, while structured routines foster punctuality, responsibility, and mutual respect.
Cultural festivals are celebrated meaningfully to promote under standing, unity, and gratitude. The school actively encourages structured parent participation by inviting parents with expertise in sports, arts, crafts, and social engagement to conduct classroom sessions.
This collaborative Child-Teacher-Parent model builds confidence in children, involvement among parents, and deeper insight for educators, creating a strong and inclusive learning community. It is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our UKG students, who have excelled at both state-level and national-level Abacus competitions.

Krishnaveni M, Academician
Since the introduction of Abacus in our institution, UKG students have consistently brought pride to C2C through their remarkable success at these competitions. Safety, transparency, and emotional well-being are integral to daily operations. Each classroom is supported by two teachers and a caretaker, CCTV monitoring, structured dispersal routines, and prompt communication with parents.
Behavioral challenges are addressed empathetically under a strict no-scolding, no-beating policy. Many Cradle 2 Colors alumni transition smoothly into reputed schools, often recognized for their discipline, confidence, and academic preparedness.
“Our greatest success is when children leave us not just school-ready, but life-ready”, shares Krishnaveni M, Academician, Cradle 2 Colors, who has played a key role in curriculum design and monitoring since the school’s inception.
Strategic Growth & Future Vision
Growth at Cradle 2 Colors has been intentional and quality-focused rather than expansive. With a maximum of 30 students per class, interview-based admissions, and a stable team of educators and caretakers who have been with the institution for several years, the school ensures emotional continuity and consistent learning experiences.
The institution’s 4.9 Google rating, strong word-of-mouth referrals, and sustained demand even post-COVID reflect its credibility and impact. Future plans include smart board classrooms, a KG learning app, and potential expansion into primary education when suitable infra - structure is available without compromising its core values. As it continues its journey, it remains firmly committed to nurturing disciplined, compassionate, and confident individuals by giving them the strongest possible foundation in life.
